What is Trashion?
TRASHiON is an event in which area students have the opportunity to design and create a garment made primarily out of recycled/found object/alternative material(s). Students are encouraged to use material(s) that would otherwise be thrown away or recycled to create their garment. However, students have the ultimate choice in deciding what material they want to work with. If a student wants to purchase “X” amount of something and use that as their material that is fine. The idea here is to get students thinking creatively of alternate material(s) for clothing
Who can participate?

Who is going to model your outfit?
If you are making a garment you may be your own model or you can find someone else to model for you. You will be responsible for hair and make-up for your outfit. This is not necessary, but can definitely add to the overall aesthetic of your creation.
There will be a DRESS REHEARSAL on MAY 4, 2024 @ 5:30pm. Your model will NOT need to be fully ready at that time, but they will need to be in the garment created.
